ok, i have another post which basically explained that my xbox 360 plugged into my LCD via component HD cables would display a 1080i image but it would have horizontal scrolling lines. So i changed the resolution on the 360 to 720p and the lines were thus gone.
my tv has: 2 HDMI, 3 component, 0 VGA inputs i recently bought a 360-HD dvd player add on. Microsoft has available for the 360, a VGA cord to input into VGA-lcd capable tvs. which can support up to 1080i. I was wanting to know is there a relatively inexpensive way to convert a VGA signal to HDMI...like a simple converter or adapter that would do this? Bc i would like to view my hd dvd player on 1080i without the scrolling lines (also, my HDMI inputs do not have scrolling lines on any 1080i signal) xbox--->VGA end--->hdmi cable--->hdmi input on LCD tv. is it possible??? |
