I have Sympatico Highspeed and a D-Link wireless hub. I have a desk top and a laptop that work fine wireless including using the networked printer.
I cannot get email or internet access through the wired computer that is using an ethernet connection wired from the router. First I lost use of Explorer. I installed Firefox. Worked for a few months then crapped out and cannot get a connection. Was able to still use MSN until that crapped out two days ago. Could I need a new Ethernet card? Should I spend the $10 and start there? |

Sounds like a software issue to me. If one browser works and the other doesn't I don't think it's a hardware problem.

I had two firewalls going and they were in conflict. Everything works now!
