Keep in mind most satellites you posted can't be received from North America, there is not much Russian programming that is free, you can write to NPS and SRL and ask them if they can try to get a deal to sell the channels on Galaxy-26 but with all the piracy of Dish net for foreign programming it is probably not worth it for them to even try.

There is like two Russian channels on Galaxy-25 that are free.

Galaxy 25 (aka IA-5) is really interesting.

Granted most of the channels are non-English but there are some good ones. Al-Jazeera English service is one. Games 'n Flicks (GNF) is another.

Kisa, for Galaxy 25 at 97.0°W you will need a dish thats 30 Inch or larger. The dishes and LNB used by ExpressVu will not work. LNB must be of the Linear type...

There are 3 free Russian channels on Galaxy 25. It's your best bet!

Using Hamilton as your location, looking from behind the dish 97w will be a little to the right and down a bit from where an ExpressVu dish would be point (assuming it is pointed at 91w).

There are satellite "look angle" websites out there. Do a little Googling.

As was mentioned, you'll need at least a 30" dish (preferably 36") and a linear LNB. You will also have to "skew" (twist) the LNB in order to keep the signal polarization proper.
