I am playing a game that auto saves constantly (every 30 seconds or so; Forza 2 when buying a car). I have heard that it is bad for a hard drive to continuously save something (the 360 hard drive in this case).
Is this true... or are they meant to save over and over continuously (and all save peripherals in general)? Thanks... |

Your HDD will be fine, it's doing what it was designed to do. The HDD's in your pc are put through way worse punishment then a game saving every 30 seconds.

Yes, I would say it would be worse for a memory card to be saved to every 30 seconds, especially to the same save slot.
