Hi all, I'm having a heck of time finding an HD player that is compatible with the Sharp Aqous LC46D62U, that works in 1080p mode. Most players output HDMI 1.3 @ 120Hz, but this LCD is only 60Hz. Any one out there have any recommendations or plossible solution?

Any one of the HD DVD players or the Blu Ray players will work fine with your Sharp. The preferred connection is HDMI. With HDMI you'll be getting a max resolution of 1080p. Using the component outputs on any of the HD DVD/Blu Ray players you'll be getting a max resoution of 1080i, which is still pretty good.
