Hello!
I've read the previous posts about the Samsung 650? or something....And I wanted to start a thread talking about this phone cause I have it. Anyways I've created some ringtones for my phone and transfered them on the phone. I've also seen them in the files that I placed them in. The problem I'm having at the moment is when I try to place my created ringtones as my ringtones, it doesn't show up in the file manager. I dont know whats going on. I was thinking maybe because the phone is locked that it will not do it? Is this the case? Has anyone found a way to get around this issue? By the way what I used to create my ringtones was Wav Sound Decorator and SMAF-Player-S If anyone could help me out that would be great. Please no comments on how the phone is, or anything else. JUST GIVE ME THE ANSWER! thanks |

The phone is DRM Protected. The only 2 ways I know to play ringtones are 1) buy them from the Rogers/Fido WAP Portal sites, or 2) drm your ringtone with SE DRM Packer, and transfer it to your phone using the Samsung II Mobile Studio and Phone Browser, freely available from samsung's (anycall in Asia) website.
