With the NBA Finals set to begin later this week, BASN looks back at an article that first appeared on the site back in late October. Eric Williams took a look at the NBA's "real" Top 10 players. After looking back at the regular season and postseason, Eric's Top 10 should be cause for some interesting conversation.

Interestingly enough, only two of those top ten players are still playing for the NBA championship. I guess everyone has their favourite player which suits their personal criteria; however, until James can prove himself under pressure (granted he is only in his fourth year and has no college experience), he is still over-rated by the media. Duncan has got to be the greatest whiner the NBA has seen in many a year; God forbid he should ever be called for a foul! As much as I dislike Drew Gooden, I hope he takes Duncan to the cleaners in this series. I have no particular favourite in this series, but I do hope the final outcome is not the result of the work of over-zealous referees.
