Music channels (No names) - Canadian TV, Computing and Home Theatre Forums

About a two years ago my Music Channels quit displaying the names & songs of the musicians/artist after and before every song. Any idea when they will bring back this feature???
(If it matters .... I'm using a Motorola DCT 6208 PVR and I live in downtown Vancouver.)

Same thing happened to me. I would love to get the song names back.

If you're talking about Galaxie, etc. Perhaps the following will help?

On Rogers we get the some information - artist, song, CD, however, it's only the current song.

I heard somewhere that the HD boxes don't show the info but the SD boxes do.Don't know if it is true or not as I only have an HD box.I don't get any info.

One problem I’m still encountering with the digital music stations is the picture form the last station what I was watching coming up at the same time that the song title and artist should.

Its kind of funny and annoying at the same time and the only way I found to correct the issue is just simply change the channel and change it back again. By the way I only have this problem on my DCT 6412 and not any others. The rest of the time the artist and song info works just fine for me.

I just upgraded my 6208 for a new 6416. Anyways .... The music titles are back
