Just got back from Amazing Photo. I just purchased the 31fd for only $339.99 plus taxes. Can't wait to give it to my daughter.

David the FujiF31 Iam really enjoying, even my 12 year old daughter likes to use it too.

My daughter and I shared the Fuji to take most of the pictures. My wife used the Xti 90% of the time.

Shot quite a bit with the Xti in raw will play with the photos when I get back home.

yup, this camera is very impressive. The only non-SLR pocket camera I can recommend.

Default Battery performance outstanding
I forgot to mentioned the outstanding battery performance of the F31.
I charged up the battery Sunday and took about 5% of the pictures with flash and got 562 photos from a single charge. I had to finally charge the battery on Wen night the battery lighted up red low.

The F31 has if Iam not mistaken a 1800 vs 950 for the F40.
