Hi,
Is it possible to get clean crisp text on a HDTV LCD using vga ? I have posted the picture of text on my HDTV and computer LCD. What a difference ! http://www.vwgm.net/lcd/textcompare.jpg I know I can use cleartype and make text bigger but would rather not. I have set the resolution to 1280 x 768 and 1360 x 768 played with Auto-Adjust, fine tune, phase and manual clock with no improvement. The TV I have is the Viewsonic N3752W, was wondering if maybe the Daytek LM37 was better or any other LCD Thank you |

With pixel displays (e.g. LCD, plasma, DLP) your video card has to output the exact resolution that the display uses (in your case 1366x768). Otherwise scaling happens and you get what you see in the picture.

My little laptop has a cheap video card, and even though my LCD has a resolution on 1366*768 (I believe) the Laptop puts out 1024*768 and it still looks great.
