In Nov 2004 I signed up for the Better Choice Bundles which gave me 15% off both my cable tv and internet monthly fee for the next 2 years.
Well its now well over 2 years and Iam still getting the 15% discount, not complaining, but as I only have these two services from rogers should this not have dropped to 5% or is the 15% grandfathered ? |

Darn I never got that bundle discount... And I've had both Rogers high-speed internet & cable constantly since 1994
Rogers seems to charge everyone a different price, depending on what they negotiate individually, like some kind of cheap flea market, LOL |

The removals are being done manually by CSRs, so if its been over 2 years, you should be contacted and then it will be removed.

i had 2 services when i started and got the bundle discount automatically. i added a 3rd service a few months later and it automatically fell under the discount. i don't recall any terms for the discount. i really should check because i believe my cable/internet was a 24 month contract and if so should be done. my wireless has 1 more year to go.
as a side story, i had a bill that never arrived a month or so ago. i called them and asked what happened. naturally they had no idea but told me for $4 they could send me another. ya..sure. i find with the wireless service it helps to call up occasionally and ask them about packages. of course they won't automatically tell you about changes in your favour but in the past they have made changes for me. for example i had an extras package (voicemail, text and call display) which they noted i could get more messages for the same price. they also gave me 2 free months for this. |

To get the Bundle price you had to agree to a two year contract; it was optional. If you didn't call to add it to your account, you didn't get it. Also, I believe the Bundle requires Digital service and, as I recall, you were analog only. If you're not on the bundle now, you should call and take it: if you've been a customer for the last 13 years you're likely to be one for another 2. Take the money and run!

Thanks yes i had analog previously, and yes i now a bundles discount of 5%. Not 15% like Rob for the same services. And it's a one-year contract, but that's no issue because if you break the contract you payback only the 5% bundled savings (a very lenient penalty to break the contract).

It is now late April and I have not added any additional services (cell, home phone). I purchased a HD box and a HD PVR and have subscribed to the HD specialty pack. I've spoken to several CSRs to activate boxes, add subscriptions, etc...still getting the 15% discount. |
