Your wiring work looks good i.e. it's unobtrusive. Did you use conduits across the ceiling as well?

Mine run along a corner (and behind a floor-standing picture frame) on the far wall, and flush against a door frame on the foreground. It's about as 'clean' as I could make it.

Nah I didn't go across the ceiling with conduit since it is that stucco-textured crap up there and very uneven. I used the CL2/in-wall rated speaker wire from MP that comes with a sheathe over the 2 wires, and stapled it up there. The floor joists run perpendicular so running them in ceiling is not an option really. Yeah, you did a REALLY good job making it all clean. I have seen a few amazing setups with a mess of wires everywhere, kinda like a supermodel with a big zit on her nose LMAO!

Thanks. That's what I was going for as well as trying to keep some space in there as my only access is through the front.

update on new 9.1 system. I did some rearranging and found some NIB B&W 600 for the heights. Same horrible room set up, couch on the back wall, long and skinny...

I actually miss the a/b surround mode of my old AVR3300. The new Denon doesn't have it so I moved the 603s up front for wides but music just isn't the same on the dipoles but movies sucked on the 603s... it's always a compromise I guess. If I ever get a proper room I will replace the mains with a set of B&W 800 series and pull out the rotel amp I have stored away. That will allow me to run the 603s for back surrounds and assign music to come out of them instead of the DS6.

Denon AVR-4311CI
Sony PS3
Sony VHS
Apple TV
Panamax M5300-PM
Samsung HLT5689
B&W 603 mains and Wides
B&W DS6 dipoles surrounds
B&W LCR6 SII Center
B&W 600 SII heights
MK MX125 II sub
Channelmaster 3020 HD OTA antenna
Harmony 880 remote
Logitec Harmony adapter for PS3
assortment of cables

Main view. The wides get pushed back behind the mains when not in use. It's a bit of a PITA but it's all I can do.

Wides and heights on each side:

Here's where it get's funky. Found a small LCD mount that pivots off the wall for the right surround. Not the best, but the only solution I could come up with:

and stored up against the wall:

The left side up high over the window:

Its been a couple of years since I posted updated pictures of my theater so I thought I would share some. I have made a few changes to the bar area, as well as some electronics upgrades. I also added bass shakers to the seats which I think really adds to the movie experience. Click on the link at the bottom to see all the pictures.

Default Finally Finish my Entertainment unit!

Ive spent the last 3 months of my spare time building my built-in entertainment unit / book shelf.

The tv space can accommodate up to a 60" so it makes my 42" look a bit miniature but its nto as bad in person. the shelves are also no longer bare and will add another pic once the Christmas tree is up and blocking the right half of the unit! lol

Equipment

42" Panasonic Plasma
Pioneer 7.1 receiver (1021)
Paradigm Monitor 7 towers
Paradigm CC190 center
Micro-Monitor rears(not shown)
crappy 8 " powered Samsung sub (not shown)

mct123, I usually follow this thread quite diligently, but I wanted to say how awesome your room is.

I'm going for something similar (minus bar area, see link in my sig). I hope Santa brings some gear under the tree!
