Default Connect a Router Without a Modem?

My internet service provider is MTS and i dont know how to connect my router without a modem and neither do they! they only know about "their" routers. My belkin N1 router is brand new, nothing wrong with it but even belkin doesnt know how to do it.. Help please!

I'm missing something here.

How can you have internet service without a modem?

GROU, do you have a (dial-up) modem card in your PC? Are you trying to use it as the gateway for machines connected to your router?
