I went and checked out the SD Card and popped in some pictures. The remote was hell to work with. My pictures were 4 meg in size and it took forever to load. Then I find that the picture only show in a small box (not expanded all the way to the size of the screen). I tried but could not get my picture to display the full screen. I also was unable to run my pictures as slideshow.

Can anybody comment about the SD Card capabilities? Thanx.

I was playing with the same thing a month ago. If I remember correctly I was able to get full screen, the picture displays 4:3 on full screen. Forgot how I did it though. Did you check the user manual? I wasn't able to figure out how to get slideshow either.

Ok. I downloaded the manual and there is a way to display slideshow. Now the only concern I have is that it doesn't display full screen (16X9) even if my photos are that aspect ratio. I've also search online and read the photos do not touch the top and bottom of the screen.

Can anybody else comment on the Photo Viewer features?

It's not the greatest photo viewer in the world, but it works. Only certain image sizes fill the screen, as it apparently has a limited number of built-in zoom ratios available. If you experiment a bit with resizing images on your PC, you can find some sizes that display full-screen, but that doesn't really help when what you want to do is insert your camera card "as is".

But we're getting ripped off on the functionality with SD cards compared to the UK. The equivalent Panasonic 60U/600U models in the UK can record MPEG-4 video to the SD card and play it back, giving UK owners a built-in mini-PVR at no extra cost.

Can you tell me what aspect ration my picture should be before the image is displayed in full-screen? I would like to try that experiment before buying. Thanx in advance.

F.Y.I.

I tested out 3 different aspect ration: 1920X1080, 1024X768, 1366X768. I was able to get almost a full-screen using the 1366X768 aspect ratio. I am satisfied. I'm sure more playing around will get a full-screen once I purchase this tv.
