Mine counts just fine. Every second that elapses is displayed.

It's strange. On TV2 it counts every second, while on TV1 it counts every 3rd.

My auto standby works perfect. I keep falling aslep in my easy chair and wake up to the blue standby screensaver.

I taped last night's Lost episode from CTVHD East early at 6PM MST, then tried to watch it after it was done taping and it was it unwatchable due to the lags/skips/whatever they're called. |

Mine counts 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42. I wonder if that's significant

It's not the same problem as last year (stuttering less noticeable but still a pain). What's up with that? |

I'm a new 9200 renter since Sunday (March 6). I PVRed Lost last night (8PM EST on CTV) and throughout the hour, it stuttered at least 10 times; sometimes for a split second, sometimes it would freeze for a second or two.
I'm currently watching (not PVRed) Raines on NBC (10:00PM) and it's flickering like crazy. I too have the 6032 hard drive. I've also noticed that the unit is pretty loud. It sounds like the hard drive is constantly spinning and every few seconds it makes a slight rattling sound (like the HDD is accessing something) even though I'm not using the PVR function.

Sorry, I accidentally posted this in the wrong thread, ExpressVu HDTV Receivers: 6x00 and 9x00 Receivers , so Mod's, please delete if you want. Post 1541.
Just found another bug that I don't think has been mentioned. I record Daily Planet on 520 at 9:00 AM Monday to Friday and have set the timer accordingly. Just lately, the timer is behaving like a VuPass where it's saying the event exists in the PVR (since I didn't watch yesterday's show) even though it should still record. I expect it's because the title and description never change. This shouldn't make a difference because I've set the M-F timer. Arrested Development at 5:30 PM M-F works fine. A real pain since even a VuPass doesn't work. Setting a manual timer seems to have worked.

I don't know if there's any relationship but when you experience stuttering on a recorded show, was that show being recorded while you were watching another show.
I record Letterman at 2:35 each night and typically there are no other shows being recorded at this time. I don't recall seeing any stuttering on that recording. On Monday's, I'm typically recording new shows while watching recorded shows or restarting a show in progress and get the occasional stutter. Anybody notice this?

Hi,
I have two 9200's in the house. One that is in the bedroom and the fan is on all the time and very frustrating(tried reset and unplug). The video on both 9200's is now stuttering and have marcro blocking as well. What ever has been fixed is great but, with these issues it is a step backwards IMHO. Rick |
