Generally an excellent article but the author implies that Apple created OS X out of whole cloth, when it is UNIX at its core. |

Great article. I remember the pitfalls when I made the "switch". It just takes a little time and patience to overcome them and OSX becomes a beautiful computing experience for the most part. It is very evident when you compare Vista to OSX how similar things are. Is Vista comparable to OSX? Not in my opinion but MS has made some strides to making the computing experience a little easier.
I am very excited for Leopard and what it might entail for my Mac experience... |

Good article and also fair. He does state some flaws of the Mac, specifically non expandibility (iMac). I've used PCs long time ago but since I'm on a Mac, I'd never go back....Once you know the best, you forget the rest ;-) I also am quite anxious to see Leopard. In fact, I'm holding my purchase of an iMac 24inch till it comes out....
