Default Which security camera can I use?

I have a relatively new house and the builder has wires put in for a security camera by the front door. It appears to be a single bundle of 5 small gauge coloured wires (like a smaller version of a cat-5 wire). The other end of the wire is somewhere in my basement, pretty sure I can find it. No camera was supplied.

Now, I would like to put a camera up so people don't stare at the wire hanging there when they come up to the house.

a) What camera can I use? (Preferably a domed camera which can survive the Canadian winter outside and draw power through the small wires)

b) What other equipment do I need for me to tie the signal to my TVs via regular coax cables.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

What area of the country are you in? PM me and I might be able to put you in touch with some showrooms.

Also, are the wires at "doorbell level" or above the top of the door?

These types of products are almost always "OEM" and not name-branded. As a result, most web resources come from local retailers instead of manufacturers, and those cannot be posted without violating forum rules.

I live in Edmonton Alberta, so it does get pretty cold in the winter time.

The wire is on the wall certered directly above the door, well protected form rain and snow. BUT...everyone who walks up to the front door can see it. That's why it is bugging me and I want to do something with it.

Please feel free to PM me here or send me an email at tyw123@hotmail.com.
