You can't just unplug it to reset it... it has a battery backup. Any tricks or is it just not possible?

A tech was at my house today, I think i saw him reset it by unplugging and then pulling the battery out.
The battery cover is located on the bottom. |

If it's the same kind of modem of Vidéotron, you should have a small reset behind the modem?!

Shaw is using the Motorola SBV5220's at the moment I believe, I have the old SBV5120 with the separate battery pack (PB1000) at the moment.

So, from what I see from a pic from the modem, you have a reset bouton at the back of it:

Ah i see, i haven't had a look at mine but I didn't see it because the shaw guy who installed the modem put a red sticker over it.
