My Blu-Ray list is:

Stargate
T2
XXX
Aeon Flux

Next purchase is Casino Royale!!!

I have the new LG Super Multi Blu player SMB-007 (love it) and the TV is the 32" Bravia XBR.

I am just blown away with the PQ of these discs. and now that this machine will play both formats I don't have to worry about not being able to get the movies I want.

"The Transporter (Blu-Ray)"
"Alien vs Predator [Blu-ray]"
"Phone Booth [Blu-ray]"
"The Sentinel [Blu-ray]"

from Amazon because of that half off special. I only had 2 of those movies on DVD anyhow, so thought it was worth it. I heard that Flying Daggers and Kung Fu hustle were very good picture quality wise, but I like the movies and don't currentl own them so I figured what the hell.

Watched Stranger than Fiction over the weekend. Enjoyed it much more than Casino Royale.

Great photography and imagination in this film. Great supporting cast to boot.

hugh if I already own Usual Suspects on dvd, you would not recommend getting it in BD then ? I agree that's it a great movie, one of my all time favorites.

Picked up Rocky today. I've never seen it in theaters thinking it was going to be crap. Pleasantly surprised. It didn't try to do too much and had a very nice and predictable formula to it. Decent flick.

PQ was pretty good, same with Audio. At some parts, the PQ was REALLY good. And WOW at Stallone looking like that at 60. Insane!

watched Black Hawk Down last weekend, Amazing picture and sound.

Finally got Hellboy (UK version). The picture is excellent and as always the PCM Uncompressed audio never ceases to amaze me. I know it's one of those movies you either like or hate but for me I never expected too much from it so I liked it, plus it's one of those movies that looks and sounds great in HD.

We just watched The Patriot in Blu-Ray. The picture and sound quality on this are top-notch. I hadn't seen the movie in a few years now but enjoyed watching it again. Quite brutal at times but one of the best examples of how good a movie can look in HD.

Just picked up the PS3 last week, so I'm wondering what would be some really good BD movies to get that showcase bluray? I'm getting Hellboy cause I like that movie and it's apparently a good disc, plus sending away for those 5 free movies, but what else is there's good? I've got an HD-DVD as well (360) so preferably stuff that's exclusive to BD, or if the BD version is better than HD-DVD, though that's rare. Thanks!
