Watched this last night. A very good movie with amazing PQ. The star of this movie (Carice van Houten) did a very good job.
I think I might have to buy this one now. |

I was in Rideau Center this afternoon, and decided to check out EB Games. Saw some used BD movies, and pulled out Casino Royale and they were asking $40 for a used movie. Decided to check out other titles and their cheapest movie was $29.99 USED. Talked about overpriced.

Just finished watching Layer Cake. This movie is great - not really any other way to describe it. I had never seen it before and I didn't know much about it going in so it was quite the ride. The PQ and AQ are both very top notch and Daniel Craig does and excellent job in the lead role.

Over the past week we've been watching the 'Planet Earth' series on Blu on the PS3... Wow!
It's one of the few BD titles available for rent at my local Rogers, but, Wow ! It is a must see for everyone. Last night my better half bought me a copy of the IMAX release 'Blue Planet' on BD. Also a Wow!

I have Blue Planet and Planet Earth as well. Both are top notch and amazing PQ. I don't think I've actually watched all the episodes from Planet Earth yet but I will eventually get through them all. The pictures from space in Blue Planet are just amazing.

For you Planet Earth fans (either format) check out Galapagos (either format). Another BBC production. Single disc and its cheap.

Watched this last night. The PQ is great, especially for an older movie like this. Soundtrack is average IMHO. Movie itself is not bad although I had seen it before. I got this for $10 at the BOGO sale.

Watched The Prestige last night, seen it before, but great flick. The PQ is good on this movie, but nothing to really showcase HD just because it's not that type of movie in my opinion, but it's a great plot, great acting and just a really twisted ending. If you haven't seen it, definitely watch it, great film.

I finally got to watch this last night for the 1st time ever in any format. The AQ in this movie will knock your socks off - it's amazing. My wife was yelling at me a lot while I was watching it (but I could barely hear her

Not a new one but the 1st time I have watched it on Blu-ray. Looks pretty good in hi-def and the AQ is pretty good. Not 5/5 calibre in either but decent for a 17 year old movie I guess. This is one of my favorite movies so I enjoyed seeing it again.
