Hello,
I'm like the most newb of all the newbs I think. I live in a condo complex that has Starchoice - and unfortunately I am unable to connect any other type of dish to connect to. So I really want to know - is it possible to use an FTA receiver with a Starchoice satellite? If it's not - please kill my hopes now before I really set myself up for utter disappointment. Thx, C |

Why not just use the Star choice receiver? for dvb in the clear feeds you need a larger dish and a motor is a big plus.

If you mean connect an FTA receiver to the complexes master Starchoice dish feed, that liekly won't work, and would be fruitless, as most of the stuff is encrypted DCII. Any DVB would be feeds.
If you mean your own Starchoice dish, that has possibilites, although it is better to have a 30" or larger dish. |
