hell no.
I emailed them asking about HDTV and got their wonderful cookie-cutter answer that they sent me a few months ago. I <moderator snip> hate that company. Me thinks it is time to go Express Vu. |

Why? 1./ New $2.99 a month "system" fee. 2./ New last year $4.99 or $2.99 Multi-Receiver fee 3./ Recent Price Increases. 4./ Nimiq 2 problems The reality is that it's cheap to leave cable. Just Cancel. Leaving satellite is expensive because not one buys your equipment back and you can't rent a BEV receiver and the 6000 for HDTV isn't cheap! |

Hugh. Spend an afternoon at my place in front of a tv with Cogeco Digital cable and you'll be slitting your wrists.
It's a painful experience. Price really isn't the issue. The software used on that box is horrible. Plus you have no HD content. Time shifting is a new concept at Cogeco but at lease we now have it. |

Exactly.
You have to experience the crap that is known as Cogeco before commenting on it. And you know what? It is worth those fees if it means I get HDTV and 5.1 sound when applicable. I swear, Cogeco seems like the only company in the universe who doesn't offer HDTV. And I won't even get started on the junk cable box cogeco uses for the dig service and how horrible the service in general is. Basically, this is not a question of costs. I can handle the costs especially if I get a better service and ANYTHING is better than Gaygeco. |
