Question Burn DTS Audio Files to CD?

I have some DTS Audio files I would like to burn to CD and listen to through my DVD Player/Home Theater, is this possible? And what software should I use to do this?

Thanks in advance

Are those DTS WAV files?
If yes, you burn them as regular audio CDs and play back on a player with a digital connection to the receiver/processor.
On a PC you can play them only using a sound card that bypasses Windows' kmixer (onboard sound cards won't do).

Make sure your volume is set very low the first time you try to play it: if the player circuitry touches the stream, it won't
be recognized as DTS by the receiver anymore and the "white noise" will be sent to your speakers.
This can blow your tweeters when even at regular volume.

Search around Videohelp.com for more info. I've made a bunch of DTS audio CDs but have since formatted my computer and can't for the life of me remember what software I used.

I apologize for resurrecting an ancient thread, but I'm burning some DTS cd's this week and ran into a problem.

I burned one album that consisted of wav files and a cue sheet, I simply burned the cue sheet as an image and popped the cd in my dvd player where it worked perfectly.

I have a second album I'm trying to burn that has wav files but no cue sheet. I've tried burning as data, burning as audio cd, creating an image file and burning the image, but I cannot get my dvd player to recognize the cd as music.

The wav files are intact because I can play them on my pc using VLC media player (they are just static using any other player, as expected.)

What am I doing wrong?
