Default Montreal Area Stores ......

Hello Again Everyone,
In Regards to my Posts about the ANT-HD10 Antenna and other Items I have picked up.....

The Store On Sherbrooke Street Near Decarie is LavalSat, 5377 Sherbrooke W. 514-482-8999
They have a simalar version of the Antenna by Eaglestar Pro Model 53-6305,
and it's $39.95ca. They also have the Lance Amp with the FM trap I was talking about for $12.99ca. They mainly carry FTA stuff ....

The other Store is Vi-Tesse Electronic not Vitesse like I originally stated, they are located on 3850 Cote Vertu 514-335-1151 ......

Haven't found a spot for my next experiment with Notch filters, but I will update the forum on my experience with them...... I have calculated that I should get better signal quality if the strong VHF/UHF stations were attenuated...

One word of caution, since the analogue shutdown in the US is approching soon and they will begin Transmitting at thier designated full power, I wouldn't go too crazy purchasing items... And when the Canadian Analogue shutdown happens reception will even get better....

Default Magi-prix for ZSS

The only place I've ever seen a ZSS clone was at this store in Laval.

http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie...5&z=14&iwloc=A

But last time I went, they didn't have much. Except an empty ZSS clone antenna box. I looked around but never found the actual antenna. Maybe another Magi-prix might have it.

goldfingerz, oh that Zenith Silver Sensor Clone is long gone and so are any decent HDTV anteanns That's because I bought the Zenith antenna a few months ago and USING IT NOW to get my HDTV signals...which are now gone because the darn tree is starting to bloom and it's cut the signal down to "10%-25%".

Now I got to find some nice outdoor antenna's (that's why I was asking if anyone has seen a TERK HDTV0 VHF/UHF antenna in Montreal)

Yuprules, keep in mind the sad truth that UHF signals do not travel well through leaves and trees. VHF and FM radio signals do, but not UHF.

I think you should look at an antenna mounted higher than the tree if possible, and there are plenty of outdoor antennas that will get better reception than that Terk antenna you are asking about.

It won't be to hard, I live in a two story house...and getting it outside will help and I am pretty sure I don't have to go too high (right now my silver sensor is inside, BEHIND A BRICK WALL and it's "barely working"...so outside should be better).

I don't want any HUGE mother of an antenna, I wanted something low profile...that's why I was looking at that TERK0, any other "smaller ones" you can recommend? Although it is hard to find these in Montreal (sigh).

The person who runs the fta supply store (ftasupply.com) is Charles Perlman who uses the nickname Gunsmoke2 on the net and he has been positively identified as an Informant for Echostar Satellite in the Echo vs NDS case in california that just ended in california.

Many of his friends are also employed by Echostar conducting sting operations for the provider

I would beware of purchasing anything from that store and if you have to use cash, instead of using your CC

Anyone ever find a store in Montreal that sells the Philips Silver Sensor (or clone...not Terk) in a store?

Got two friend's in the south shore who are looking for it, online with shipping kills the price so bad.

Dollarama (no joke), it's located where the ethernet/usb/video/telephone cables are. Just use it in REVERSE (two cords into one).

Question Good installer in Laval?

Anyone know a good installer to help with my setup (Laval area)?

I have some issues receiving ABC(WVNY) and would like someone to help with the installation of my 5Y13S antenna. Currently that and my CM 4228 are mounted in my attic, but I think moving them outside might be a better solution, and I'd like to have them professionally done.

I have all the equipement, and cabling is done. I'd want to replace my current rooftop ExpressVu dish install with these 2 antennas.

Thanks.
