I don't see it listed in the EPG on Rogers HDTMN for next Monday. It is listed on the regular TMN though.

I was under the impression that it coincided with regular schedule but I have an email in to them to confirm.

TMN has replied.
The official word is that Band of Brothers should coincide with regular programming.

TMN said that announced HD Movies should run at the same time as when the regular movie or show run. The HD should not run counter to their schedule but it seems they've been going through alot of issues with
Rogers, Bell ExpressVu and Starchoice which hopefully will be worked out going forward.

Incidentially I asked about Chicken run and found out that the Rogers' Chicken Run master was bad therefore if you are a Rogers HD subscriber you will not be receiving this title until a new master is available although it should be fine on ExpressVU and Starchoice.

Hope this helps
Hugh

I thought that they would have used the same feed for all their subscribers. There is a different master for each provider??

korn, the original missive that I received from TMN was that it would be in HDTV. You saw the response I got when questioning times above. If I get another note, I'll let you know, but I'm going to be at my set Monday night at the scheduled hour.

Default Chicken Run was on in HD over weekend

Chicken Run was on in HD over the weekend, I believe Saturday. The picture quality was great, bu the sound level was very low on my TV.

Is it in DD5.1???

On Rogers, the HD feed took an extra 3 minutes to start, but no DD 5.1.

Well, for those of us watching Band of Brothers, wasn't that interesting.

I tuned into Rogers at 10:00 PM, no TMN.

I turned to ExpressVu and watched the first episode in glorious HD in Dolby Digital. Folks it was beautiful.

End of Episode #1. ExpressVu turns on a demo. No Band of Brothers.

Back to Rogers who now had Band of Brothers but NOT in Dolby Digital.

Beautiful second hour, lousy sound.

ExpressVu rates a zero. First hour was five out of five. Second hour they lose all points. How could you take it off the air!

Rogers, rates a five out of ten. Two out of five for the first hour. THree out of five for the second.

Guess they can't get enough of Bourne & Kratz (geez, they look kinda scary in HD!)

BEV also has BOB listed in its HD schedule for Thursday and Saturday, presumably coinciding with TMN's broadcast schedule (Thurs 6 PM, Sat 10 PM, all repeats of the first two episodes). Hopefully then they'll keep their finger off the play button of the demo reel deck.

Why can't they show these HD presentations in dd5.1

They have the capability, it is in the source, it is part of the HDTV standards.

I always hated rogers, this is why.
You call them to ask and they have no idea what the hell is going on.

I did catch it though( baby woke up crying at 11)
I went to HT room to feeed him and it was on. Good baby
I forgot!!
