6200 Box Half Working

Hey guys,

I'm hoping you can help me out with my little problem I'm having.

I recently purchased a 6200 HD box. Followed all the instructions setting it up and followed up by calling Shaw to activate the box on their side.

The problem that I am having is that I only receive some of the channels now. Only 2/9 HD channels come in and I should have access to all of them. The movie channels do not come in anymore either.

I have an old regular digital cable box and if I hook that up I can get the movie channels again so I know I have access to them from Shaw's side.

I had a tech come out and check all the cables and connections and everything came out fine. The tech connected one of their boxes and everything worked fine which leaves me to believe that there is something wrong with the cable box itself.

I've reset the box and D/L'd all the programming again, got them to reset the box from their side and still no luck.

All I want is to watch some HD football.

Anyone have some suggestions??

The tech should have gave you a new 6200 if that worked. Get your box exchanged if you didn't get it from a outside source. This would be a good reason to pay thru the nose and buy from Shaw or a authorized dealer. If you got it from Shaw or a authorized dealer, they'll give you a new one. Just explain what you wrote hear.
