Default viewsonic

hello
i have two of these sets.
very happy with picture quality however when paired with star choice box you need ( I think ) to use an av receiver to get sound with the dvi/hdmi cable.

Wow, The price droped fast! I only paid $740 in in early March.

Anyways, jonoz, there is a mini headphone-type jack next to the VGA port labeled "PC audio" or somthing.
That port is active in both VGA and HDMI mode, so using a Y cable you can hook up the audio from a STB directly to the TV

BTW, I also love my N3252W

Anyone here using an Xbox 360 and it's HD-DVD add-on with this 32 (or 37) inch Viewsonic? Good, bad or indifferent? Thanks.

I had a buddy bring over his PS3.
WOW is all I can say!

Now that was HDMI, but picture quality should be the same with component...

Have a look at the Panasonic Viera 32 inch LCD. 3000:1 contrast, 8ms response and cheap. VERY NICE tv. I have the 26 inch version and love it.

Just out of curiousity, what's the $ on the Panasonic? The N3252W is only $699 at Costco now...

I'm sure the Viera is nicer, but ouch on the $
