great show...it would be interesting to know how much money is involved when these guys are captured. Those massive Sport Utilities that they drive around Hawaii don't run on motivational talks!

We watch the show at our house also. Just started watching it this summer, A&E keeps showing all the old ones back to back so it's good for catching up.

I'm not 100% sure on how the bail/bail bondsman system works in the U.S. but they're working for they're own company they own as a family business so if they don't catch them they loose the money they put up for their bail. I don't know how much of a reward incentive they have. They're not like freelance bounty hunters who go after bail jumpers that have a reward on their heads from bail bondsmen, they're just in it for the reward money (their salary).

At least, that's what I've come to understand of this system from watching too much TV.

laugh! yeah I hear you, we noticed the same thing, I do know that you can purchase all kinds of Dog memorabilia of his web page, and the dog does indeed have a huge fan base...

20 bucks for a T-shirt so if you are Canadian 40 bucks by the time you get it:-)

I was just reading that the Dog was up on charges for capturing a guy in Mexico and apparently he was not authoritsed to do so... have to finish reading the article to get the details and when this supposedly happened

Oh, the irony. The bounty hunter's out on bail and doesn't show for court.
