Does anyone know when we can expect the new Samsung 95D Series and 96D Series LCD TV's in Canada? I'm anxiously waiting for the LN-S4095D 40" 1080p model, which is already available in the states for US$3,299 at Best Buy.
http://www.samsung.com/Products/TV/L...S4095DXXAA.asp We're still stuck with the old Samsung 51D Series 1080i models in Canada... |

The LN-S4692D does not display 1080p unfortunately..
Both the LN-S4695D and LN-S4696D have 6000:1 contrast and display 1080p, the only different being that the 96D has a DCR tuner. |

The hot models this fall will be the new D90U series from Sharp (37" and 45" 1080p), plus the new Sony Bravia XBR3 1080p series. So far only the Sharp Aquos LC37D90U is available in Canada, its absolutely beautiful.
I can't wait to see how the 40" Samsung 95D model looks, to choose between this and the Sharp. |

In the second week of August I'd recommend viewing the Sharp Aquos D90U models, or the Samsung 95D models. The Sony Bravia XBR3 models won't be out until September, but they will be ridiculously priced!
