Default TMNOD Update Delayed

Here in North York, TMNOD didn't have its usual Tuesday update of new movies.

There is a message "This week's TMN update has been delayed due to a technical issue. We are working hard to bring you the rest of TMN's new titles and we apologize for any inconvenience."

Must be something serious to delay it this long?

This problem must be with all their on-demand offerings because the same message appears for WWE 24/7 (which is updated on Thursdays). That's a little slow if the problem has occurred since Tuesday though. It might almost be time to call them ask what the heck is happening.

I thought I'd trying calling them today, and they have an automated message up once you click through a few options that just says their engineers are working on the problem. That would be all right... if they hadn't already been working on the problem all week with no progress.

Cool Entire Rogers Video On Demand (VOD) System Crashed

No Service on any on Rogers On Demand channels tonight (Saturday) the culmination of a week were no updates were made to most VOD channels. Rogers has telephone message stating that they have these problems and have no idea of when they will be fixed.

I tried my Howard Stern channel and as I followed the path to different programming, one time I ended up in the Adult Movie Demand area and the other path led me to Treehouse on Demand.

I was able to access TMNOD on Saturday. No new updates, but the older movies are stil there and work fine. Strangely, though, at the end of the movie, when I hit "Stop", the screen froze and a second later my box rebooted itself

WWE OD is back working with new content this afternoon.

I'm not sure about TMN, but someone with the service might want to check to confirm.

Default TMNOD causes crash and reboot

I have seen this mentioned before but couldn't find the thread. This has been happening to us for quite some time, but we have ignored it because we so seldom use this to see the movies as most are crap.

Now that everything is in rerun we wanted to watch something last night and picked some movie. Sure enough after the hourglass it just said loading movie for several minutes then the box went off and rebooted. Once it was rebooted the movie loaded fine. Anyone got any idea what is causing this?

This occurs using the 8300 have never tried tmnod with the 3250.
