I must have watched the movie 3 times now, but not once was I sure whether or not the dad allowed the two men to fall in the opening scene. I always questioned it but never bothered to have a close look at it frame by frame. I was showing it to a friend of mine yesterday and he requested that we take a closer look. Sure enough, in just a few frames you can see the dad flip back and bring in his arms which allowed the rope to slip over his head. I'm sure this was obvious to many of you, but I thought I'd share my discovery just in case
Overall, what a true act of altruism on the father's part.

What are the extras like? I was thinking about getting the Superbit edition (no extras).

In that case, how is the PQ ?
I'm unable to fund this DVD (SB edition) for a decent price. |

Very nice...truly impressive. It's not HD but you won't be disappointed. Check out the discussion thread in the Superbit Collection Forum about half way down where I talk about catching my breath
