There was an OTA article in the Wheel section and website front page:

One way to popularize it for the next 2 weeks is to put a CTV affiliate on a TV that's in a common area.

In my office, we have a couple of extra TVs that I only had to shove in a paper clip to the coax connector to get CFTO. Now everyone in my office can experience OTA HD for the next 2 weeks.

Thumbs up Another One... Moves to OTA

A buddy of mine had enough of his cable bill and is switching over to OTA. I'm going to help him mount the antenna and setup his Tivo's.

The word keeps on getting out. More and More people are starting to see the value of free.

Show people what a compressed HD cable TV signal looks like on a high-quality HDTV set and then show them the crystal-clear OTA signal, and they'll see the light. No pun intended.

Just so you know, OTA signals are still compressed...using MPEG2 technology. They aren't as compressed as the cable/sat signal, but it should still be noted.

Default Cutting the cord

The Vancouver Courier newspaper published an excellent article on cutting the cable TV cord.

Pretty good article, but he only briefly mentions OTA and then promptly forgets about it when talking about what shows you can get, focusing instead on how Netflix and iTunes don't offer live TV.
