I'm not sure if this has been brought up already but:
There was an announcement (probably not the first) on Breakfast Television (BT- CityTV) this morning that on Jan 16th, City TV would air it's first HDTV broadcast...Mission Impossible II. The announcement also stated that it would be available on Rogers Digital HD cable, but *not* satellite.

That's what was stated in a Canadian press article yesterday also. I assume that ExpressVu will carry it once Nimiq-2 becomes operational in April.

The article yesterday stated that Rogers had an exclusive arangement with City. It doesn't sound like any one else will get it with out the CRTC stepping in.
