For those who are considering the services of 57, i would highly recommend it. The set-up is great, picture quality far improved from what i was using previously. I also learned a lot about my audio system and how everything works together.
Another satisfied customer. |

I want to add my voice to the chorus of praise for 57 and his amazing ability to make masses of cables and connections comprehensible.
My case was probably one of the most groan-inducing, as I needed help with absolutely everything, but I was treated with respect, my questions were listened to and answered clearly and with care, and I could not be happier with the result. To everybody who is wavering about the expense, I can only say that it is certainly worth every penny. (I would also like to echo someone's sentiment earlier: if you want HDMI cables, get them from 57; they are a much, much better deal than you can get at the big stores. Sadly I learned that too late.) Once 57 is finished with your system, you will see for the first time why it is worthwhile to have high definition in the first place. Thank you very much, 57. |

I too would like to express appreciation to 57 for the great job he did with my system, which was by no means an easy task, after having to clean up the mess I made.
For anyone who is serious about their home theatre system, as I am, you can't go wrong with 57. To-night I get to relax and enjoy TV as I have never seen it before. Thank you once more, and people it's worth every cent you spend, I know, should I ever require help again he'll be the first person I call. |

57 is simply amazing.
He know his stuff.... I'll try to make sense of this, as I'm surviving on 4hrs of sleep.. Reason, I was up most of the night testing 57' Optimization... Then had to meet up with a buddy of mine for an Xbox 360 co-op game on Xbox Live. Wow really impressed with my new system. My only regret is ...my house was a mess, and it was embarrassing... Sorry about that 57.. 57 knows what his doing. He has the knowledge and the tools to get the job done. It is truly a night and day difference. Money very well spent.. Thanks 57!! |

57 has an obvious passion and natural way about this type of work. One of the best features of his service is that he explains what he is doing as it gets done. This is invaluable to the Home Theater Beginner or enthusiast. Although I had fooled around with the Avia DVD myself a few years back... it is much different to have someone explain beyond the DVD on why and what is happening.
My picture is excellent and I have options on both my projector and my LCD for Theater mode or gaming etc. that fits my room. The LCD was real noticeable right away! Finally 57 picked up on a rear speaker configuration change that made sense that we hadn't thought about during the original installation. I made the change that night after he left and he was right. I am enjoying my "rears" much more now than a week ago !!! Thank You Your Home Theater is not finished until you receive this service - period theconcertaholic |

I would like to thank 57 for the time he took to properly set up and work his magic on my system and explain what he was doing so that I could learn.
His services are a must and needed if you want the best out your set up and his knowledge of all components helped me understand how to sync them together as I would probably have ended up with 5 remotes lol. Good job 57. nuuch |

I would also like to thank 57 for flawlessly setting up my 52" LCD a couple of weeks ago. Since he did his work the picture is flawless regardless of which of my components the signal is coming from. I highly recommend his services if you want to get the most out of your TV and all of the other components you may have. Thanks 57 for a job well done.

I will never purchase another TV without having 57 come over to optimize it.
This guy is a guru of gurus! I would highly recommend his services to everyone. If you're going to spend so much money on a TV, it's worth having it display properly...and 57 can get it perfect. |

I don't think I can say anything else over and above what has already been posted in the previous 10 pages on the work 57 does or the benefits you end up with when he is finished. Well worth the money and thanks for your time.

Yesterday, 57 optimized my home theater. This is truly a professional service. My Sony KDS60A2000 is now improved visually in both SD and HD, looking more natural, in conjunction with the Bell 9200 and PS3. 57 explained what he was adjusting and why, showing the difference between my previous settings and now optimized settings. 57 also explained how 5.1 was identified and what settings (Yamaha2500) would give the intended sound reproduction. Our HT not only looks better, but sounds better!
Thanks 57 for coming out to Orangeville and your patience with an over friendly Golden Retriever! |

I am happy to add to the many positive comments already listed here. I was a little weary about using the service at first, but am extremely pleased I did.
The communication throughout was outstanding. 57 was very flexible and accommodating. He was also very professional and after speaking with him (and reading his posts), I had no concerns about his technical knowledge. I agree with 57's opinion that it is important to calibrate any system - even if it's just a TV with no surround sound system. I would recommend to anyone you have the service performed by 57. I will be referring my friends and family as they buy new TVs. Especially for the price, you can't go wrong. And, as I may have a defective TV, should it need to be replaced by Samsung, I will call him to use his service again. Thank you 57. |

I recently had 57 out to optimize my TV and components. More than impressed with not only his knowledge, but also the fact that he had no problem really explaining things to me. While he said my settings that I had selected were not that bad, when he was done, the image was much improved. I especially appreciated the fact that he is not the type of guy that is looking at his watch. He spent a lot of time explaining things to me and I have no doubt he would have spent longer if I had any other questions for him. Definitely be recommending 57 to my friends!

If you are still on the fence after reading all of these positive testimonials then it's time to jump off and get it done. I echo all of the positive sentiments mentioned over many pages here in this thread. The difference I experienced after 57's optimization was remarkable. Thank you 57 for a job well done and I will not hesitate to recommend you to my friends as well as people reading this.

Have been playing with my equipment all afternoon after 57 spent 5 hours optimizing our TV , setting up our Blu-ray and dvd recorder, giving suggestions and advice and hooking up other equipment and rearranging equipment and cables I had placed in awkward positions. What a difference!!!
The picture quality is great and 57 took the time to pvr some HD content and showed me exactly what I should be seeing opposed to the settings I had-too bright and too much colour among other things. He also coordinated the tv and pvr to work together which will save a lot of time and he set up the dvd recorder so the missus can tape shows offf the pvr( literally a life saver for me). Had a moment of panic when the proper sound would not come out of the blu-ray but 57 dove back into the menu and presto-chango the appropriate sound issued forth ( I think it was DTS master HD ? ) He also hooked up an old phono and tape deck and programmed them into the system too. For myself, not being electronically gifted, the cables alone would have taken several hours or more. We don't want to estimate the time I would need to program and coordinate the equipment because the final formula would be longer than Pi! -lol On 57's first call he gave good advice on how to prepare speaker wire which I would never have done on my own but which made a lot of common sense. In a nutshell, 57 gave me the foundation on which to build a great Home Theatre experience. He cares about helping people - not only in the forums but also through his optimization- and other- services. He is a dedicated hobbyist with a professional attitude!!! If anybody has not clued in yet, email this guy and get him over and start enjoying life again. Anyone can sit there with a cable in one hand and the other hand up their ....! In the old days, hooking up , programming and coordinating all this stuff was easy compared to the level of expertise , experience and plain old patience you need today. So give yourself a break and call. Thanks again, 57! |

I just wanted to add my recommendation to 57's excellent service. I consider myself pretty knowledgeable but 57 was still able to impart quite a few tidbits of info to make my viewing experience far superior. He was able to calibrate my TV to show its "true colours" and provide advice on sound, cables, etc. I just returned my $140 Mon$ter cable and I'm using the $20 cable that 57 provided!
What I like most is that he's hardware neutral and he takes into account "life" (kids, weird furniture placement, etc.) He'll make recommendations and suggestions but ultimately it's up to you. After spending $1,000's on a system the fee to calibrate properly is well worth it. Thanks again! |
