Default Super Bowl

Simple question. Shouldn't arouse to much debate for a change. What are the odds that Expessvu will carry the Super Bowl in HDTV. Did they carry it that way last year? (Yes I know CFL is a far better product)

There are no if's, and's or but's it will be shown on BEV in all of its glory. BEV has shown the HD version for at least 2 years and have shown the SD Widescreen version since about 1976 (channel 299).

Well I hope they are showing it in HD because it is the reason I am probably going to get BEV in the next few weeks once my SUnday Ticket package on cogeco is over.

As for cfl being better than nfl....that is a joke, right? Either it is a joke or you've only watched the bengals & cowboys play this year.

Or, you're just biased because you're a canadian.

ABC is carrying the Superbowl this year (see here for more info).

I would imagine Bell will carry it although up til the last weekend, there was some debate last year about whether they would carry Fox's Widescreen edition of the Superbowl.

And before an argument breaks out, last years Superbowl was NOT in HDTV rather it was broadcast in FOX Widescreen which was 480p apparently upconverted from 480i.

I personally thought it was a superior picture to standard definition though many others did not think so.

Apparently ABC is showing the AFC conference playoffs in High Definition. That's Jan 11, 12 and 19. What are the chances of expressvu broadcasting these????

Default RE: Playoffs

ABC always carries some Saturday games during the playoffs and it will be interesting to see whether they do them in HD as well. CBS is expected to show their games in HD during the playoffs. I am surprised, however, that CBS so far has chosen not to show at least the national games in HD during the season. Maybe we will get a surprise for the games this weekend.

r2917,
yes without hesitating , the CFL game is FAR better than the NFL game.
I will argue this one until my death , or when the CFL adopts the FAIR CATCH rule.
Which ever comes first.
