Hey,
After watching a few episodes of corner gas on dvd, I want to know what on earth is going on. The colors are all extremely grainy. At first it was in my kosch divx player, thought that my rca cables used as components were what was giving problems, hooked up to my ps2, using monsters (ebay, not full price payed

It was shot using 16mm film and I don't think the production values are there. There are lots of threads on how Corner Gas is not great HD (season 3 is HD and it is not very good since they're still using 16mm film as the "master"). Sounds as though it's not great DVD either.
Was season 1 better?
