Angry Receiver Volume on 3250HD remote

Hi everyone. I tried following the remote instructions that came with my 3250hd box in order to control the volume of my Yamaha receiver while on 'cbl' mode...and it didn't work out. I still have to click 'aux' then volume up/down to control the volume. Anyone know of another way to lock the volume? Maybe I'm missing a step?

Much appreciated and Merry Christmas

I don't believe you followed the instructions in the remote's manual properly. There are instructions for controlling the volume while not needing to switch inputs. I believe they are in two different sections. Re-read the remote manual.

this particular remote is quirelly for setting that up...
try following the remote instructions...
then do it again but instead of cbl and setup do aux and setup....

if that doesnt work look into JP1... you can reprogram this remote using your PC...
