Saw this at CC & it looked & cheasper than the stuff they are selling at Home Depot:

The fact that it is fire rated is a plus. This means it isn't re-branded stuff with no QC applied. It's 14 guage, so for normal in house runs will be just fine.

Is 60 cents per foot really a good price though?

You can typically buy 12 ga two-conductor "lamp cord" for about $30/100' at hardware stores or Home Depot type places. They also sell it by the foot (er metre)... Works great.

I just picked up 70 meters of 12 gauge 2 conductor copper stranded bulk speaker cable at Home Depot for 1.10 per meter (about .34 per foot). It's in an FT4 rated jacket, suitable for installation in walls and plenums - excellent cable at an excellent price.

Part number is 423669, and you can buy exactly what you need - I got 70 meters (230 ft) for 77 dollars. Look for the bulk 12.2 cable in the green jacket.
