Default 8300SD : Some recordings disappeared!

Well, I may not be so happy about the new upgrade, after all...

A few of my recordings have misteriously disappeared in the last few days. I'm certain that I did not delete them myself. They were all at "never erase", and automatic erasing is OFF on my PVR.
This never happened to me before, so I tend to blame the new upgrade.

Has this happened to someone else lately?
Thanks

Not me, but i suggest you check how you >>save<< youre recording. Maybe the new update change youre setting back to default.

My settings are at "never erase", as they were before. So that's not it.
By the way, some of the recordings that were erased were recorded _before_ the update.

Default Erasing wrong recording?

I had something similar happen a couple of times to me.

I was watching a recorded program. At the end it automatically stops and you are given a menu where you can 'play from beginning, erase, etc". After choosing 'erase' you are sent to the recorded list. It was then I noticed that the show I had just finished watching and erased was still in the list and a different show was gone. For me it was the first show in my alphabetical list (Alias).

It hasn't happened for over a year now, but I'm very careful now when erasing a program to make sure its erasing the right one.

Unhappy Programs constantly disappearing

This has happened to me 4 times! And once I lost over 30 programs (only 5 minutes each) all at once. I also have Auto-Erase turned off and most of the shows that disappear are all set to be saved "until I erase". And I try to maintain my memory at about 50-60% capacity at all times. None of the upgrades have fixed this issue since I am still losing programs to this day. I'm really glad to see that I'm not the only one. Videotron insists that nothing is wrong with the box - which would imply that they assume it's a user error which I know is not the case. They've finally agreed to send a technician tomorrow so we'll see what he has to say.

gen1234, please keep me informed!
I am getting quite annoyed, now. It happened to me at least 3 times already. Each time, it erases all the episodes of one show at once.

Did this bug happen to you _before_ the december upgrade?
