Don't see why.

On another note, go job HDNET (yet again). They also do a great job with NHL broadcasts. Too bad the season is only 52 games long, it's usually 65.

I'm going to be getting Bell ExpressVu's Sports package deal and add on the HD channels.... Will I get those games if I do this? Or will they be blocked due to NHL center ice restrictions?

HDNET is not legally available in Canada yet (many threads on the topic). So, if the application lingers will these games show up on existing HD channels? Who knows.

Last year some HDNET games ended up on PPV.

Why is this posted here if we cannot get these games? Unless of course they show up on the Center Ice package which I emailed both Bell and nhl.com about and have not received a response.

Where would you like it posted? Some of us do get HDNET. They won't be part of the CI package, that's for sure.

Why is that? I've read that last season CI had some HD games...where did they all come from?

Looks like TSN is picking up the feed from Vancouver on Oct. 5th from HDNET.

Some providers had HDNET games as PPV events that you could buy one at a time. Those games were outside of the CI package. TSN picking up HDNET games is more likely.

like i've posted elsewhere ... approving HDNET won't bring those games to Canada.

TSN owns 100% of the rights to national hockey in this country. This is why you won't see games on OLN, it's the same situation with HDNET.

I'm actually convinced the CRTC will approve this appliation along with the Canadian version of Discovery HD Theatre. I expect both announcements to be made the samd day in November and both channels up and running by yearend.
