Default Price of OUT TV

I guess Out Tv won and got Shaw to lower its price to a pick and pay channel at $2.49, but I also noticed that Shaw now offers their multi pack of channels (30 for $20.99) as either Multi Pack or you can get Those same Channels and Out TV - called Multi Pack Extra for the same price - guess Shaw won't charge you extra for it - but you must request it to receive it

It's packaged very similar on StarChoice. The stand alone price is $2.49 or you can receive it in the More Movies II package. The More Movies II package is the same More Movies but with OUTtv included.

Really? I'm glad I use Rogers and not some company that censors what I can see. Sex TV is nothing compared to late night TMN movies.

It appears to me that Rogers provides every television service available for their customers and then lets their customers decide what they would like to see. Rogers is generally among the first to provide any new service, rather than having to be forced to provide anything.

Actually I don't think it's an issue of censorship with Shaw. They just don't carry as many of the digital channels as other providers. Most (if not all) of the channels we are missing are owned/operated by CHUM.

Is it a matter of censorship or of good taste as defined by the larger public? Highly subjective terminology, but the courts have been struggling with that one for years. Perhaps Shaw has reason to believe not enough people would subscribe to Out TV to warrant its carriage.

LMAO

BTW, Thanks Shawguy for the heads up on this. I called Shaw yesterday and they added it to my lineup with no charge. The CSR said they intended to add it to everyone who has the right package but they just haven't gotten around to all their customers yet. Don't know if that's true or not but they will certainly add it if you ask. He also said he thought they were close to offering TSNHD but I take that info with a big grain of salt these days!
