I just called FS's customer service line to see if I could get a pricematch from Best Buy's F&F sale on the KFE50A10 - he said I would have had to call while the sale was still on, and I could've got the match. Darn it, I didn't realize their phone line was open 24/7. I thought they had regular business hours. Guy had no sympathy, either.

Oh well, hopefully another good price will come up in the next 3 weeks.

Now, by the sound of it, I don't have to trek all the way back to FS to get a price match (it's a 45 min. drive, and gas isn't cheap!) - I just have to call their customer service line.

I think FS & BB will have the 10% off promotion again as shopping spree is getting momentum. Just keep your eyes open via flyers/web sites. Good luck!

I bought the 50a10 at sears yesterday for the $2299 price - $20.00 scratch and save. TV would be ready for pickup by the weekend. Read the Forums today about the FS and BB 10% off prices. Dammit Dammit Dammit

I printed off the price of $2159 that mlai01 got and went down to BB tonight and was able to get the TV for $2150 then went to sears to cancel our order

Gotta go back in a couple days to pick up.

I could have also had a good deal on the 50 inch SXRD from Visions at $3988. Talked to a guy at FS (their price $4999) who said he could beat Visions price by 10% of the difference = $100 which would make it $3888
At this point couldn't justify spending almost 2x as much $$$ since 1080P material so limited. Maybe in 4 or 5 years time to upgrade again. Hopefully the dumbo ears will disappear by then. I liked the looks the 55A20 better than the SXRD and the 50A10

I'm in the exact same boat. The way I see it, I can use the $2500 that I save by buying the 50a10 now to buy a 1080p in 5 years that is far, far superior to the SXRD...and by then, there will actually be 1080p content. In the meantime, I can enjoy my 50a10 and eventually use it as a 2ndary bedroom TV.

It's not the right Sears Flyer unfortunately, but you can check out Future Shop and Best Buy's flyers... Good for grocery comparisons too!

I know it said in the flyer that you can get 50% off on the stand with TV purchase but I only bought the stand from Sears. I think it depends on the sales rep, some are strict and stick to the rule when others are more easy going. I suggest you print out the price from the web and try your luck again with another rep asking them to match the price on their own web site. That was what I did, showing the rep with the web price.

I shall pick up my stand next Monday and post my findings on its actual size in due course. The spec of the smaller stand does indicates the width as 47-1/2", which to me is a perfect match for 50A10 measured at 46-5/8" wide.

I already went to 2 different Sears stores and they wouldn't give me the deal, the reps said you have to buy the TV. I'm going to try printing the ad and take it back, see what happens, thanks!

I bought KFE50A10 on FF for 2489$ on Sunday 11 Dec. I was not aware it was 2289$ at BB the same day.
They said they will match any advertised price 110% for 30 days.
I'm not sure if I should cancel and go again for boxing day or I should try their price match policy. What if there is some catch?
Somebody told me that I can bargain on boxing day if I didn't buy anything yet.

The price was actually $2489.99 on sale. I made a typo in my post but my final price was still correct as $2489.99-10% discount=$2240.98 + taxes.

You can try and see if you can get the 10% discount but they may say that you should have called on Sunday because that's when the promo was on. But why not try anyway?

If it goes down on boxing day, you are still covered by Price Protection.
