I assume you are talking about Rogers here, where did you get this information from?? I was told Gol TV would be launching Oct. 15, now you say Oct. 28, has the launch date been pushed back??

Free preview for a year, wow that's unbelievable! Why would they give it free for so long... who cares, more soccer!!!

If it is on rogers very doubtfull it will be free for a year maybe if its in the sports pack but not free outright.Possible sports pac line up.

Anyone know when Rogers is planning on adding WNLO buffalo? It was approved by the CRTC but still nothing.

The Fight Network on channel 427 and HDTOR on channel 510 have been added to the IPG. Both channels aren't broadcasting yet. I think HDTOR is Sun TV formerly known as Toronto 1.

It's delayed due to technical issues.
Should be on channel 178 once it's ready.

The Fight Network on Channel 427 is in a black screen on my box, Some areas are receiving 427. AS for 510 HD TOR 1 it's also been added to the lineup. It stange I wrote Rogers and asked when these channels are launching and they come back and say we don't have any information on this channel.

But certain departments knows channels are coming

HDTOR which was briefly located on channel 510 has been moved to channel 512 and renamed HDSUN. This channel is Sun TV.

It's the new name for Toronto 1.

Rogers Cable has informed me that the following areas will be once again be getting a rebuild in their area with the some major addional channels planning to launch will require higher bandwidth.

Scarborough/Richmond Hill/ Pickering/ Markham is currently 750mhz they will be upgraded to 860mhz or Higher ( 1000mhz ) in some areas this will takre place soon and will go into next spring.

The last tiem we had a rebuild was like a year ago, I suprised they are once again coming back to our area to to replace the boxes again waste more money when they could did it in the first place.

So with that in mInd I presume that their going to expand the lineup even more.

Rogers Cable once again expanded their Sports Channels From 431-469 They are planning to group all the sports in specfic sports spots.

OHL Hockey 464-469
NFL Sunday Ticket 431-444
Nascar In Car 445-452
MLB Extra Innigs 453-463
NHL Centre Ice
NCAA Football 431-444

I would assume that some areas in scarborough are already 860 Mhz. Also at this points in time, there is no point in going past 860 Mhz because non of the current digital receivers on the market can tune anything beyond 860 Mhz.
