You are right 57, I should have upgraded the SA2000. I started to read items here on the benefits of the upgrade after I bought it.
I thought the SA8000 would be a nice upgrade in the (near) future and the SA2000 would go on another t.v. but thanks to this web site I see that in Ontario that may be a little longer than anticipated. |

Toshiba 57HDX82
Harmon Kardon AVR 7000 Anthem MCA 20 Amp (power for fronts) Paradigm Reference Studio 40's Paradigm Reference Studio CC Paradigm Reference Studio 20's Paradigm PW2200 Subwoofer Toshiba SD1200 DVD Toshiba VCR Sony CDP-CX53 CD Changer Starchoice Satellite Future Upgrades I'm Considering: DVD: Sony DVP NS999ES, Pioneer Elite DV-47AI, Marantz DV8300, Yamaha DVD S2300 Preamp/Processor: Anthem AVM 20, Rotel RSP 1066 Amp: Anthem MCA 50, Rotel RMB-1095 Speakers: Paradigm Reference Studio 100's The DVD player will probably be the first upgrade. It will either be a DVD/sacd player or a universal player. After that probably the speakers. A new preamp and amp are last on the list and by that time there will probably be newer and better models to choose from. |

I guess it's about time for me to list my "humble home theatre"
TVs: GE (stereo), one from the late 80s (not stereo) on a cart with wheels, and a 13" in the kitchen (stereo but I'm not sure) beside the sink. VCRs: AIWA multisystem (not stereo  ) Goldstar (not stereo) JVC (broken) DVD: Panasonic DVD player (RV-30 or something like that) Satellite: Bell ExpressVu (3 IRDs) on steroids with nowhere to go Super 7 theme package with BPM:tv (Networks, Sports, News, Lifetyle, Destination, More Movies, En famille) not part of this humble home theatre: portable Sharp MT190 Minidisc recorder (except when recording the interval music on BBC World) Sony discman Sony CD/MP3 discman AIWA stereo (from the 80s) kitchen clock radio |
