You mock me, RNA!

Yes, it's still the 50WE620. I think I've just past the second week of safe viewing (100 some odd hours). The crop circle/dust blob appeared on the thirtieth day last time (200 some odd hours). However, I have a feeling that if it appears it will appear well after the thirty-day return policy of FS. I had my air cleaner in the house serviced recently. If the dust blob is due to inordinately high levels of dust, this repair may well put off the blob's appearance until later in the set's life. We'll see. At any rate, I'm totally bummed by the fact that I expect the blob to appear regardless. As you know, my experience with these sets has programmed me to think this way.

Default 6000 hrs on my V500A

and still going strong. Though, I just got the LE replaced because of that red cloud issue.

I notice all the new models out now and I have to say they all look great! The PQ is improving with each new generation of LCDRP and now the LCOS stuff looks fantastic.

Still happy with my "little ol" 50V500A however, and I still have 2 years left on my extended warranty.

I've had a 50VS810 for almost a year.

I used to work in this business so I did my research beforehand.
The purchase was made with my eyes wide open, I knew what the potential quirks were.

It's not perfect but I honestly cannot say I regret the decision to buy it.

Hey RNA! Just thought I'd report that after a solid year-and-a-half use of the KF50WE620 (about 2,000 viewing hours), she's still going strong. I guess I was simply unlucky with those other five sets. Now, I'm contemplating issues like: HD DVD or Blu-ray? I'll probably wait to see some sign of who will probably win this format war. But then again LG plans to make a dual player. Go LG!

Cheers!
