Hello everyone,
I'm just wondering if I'm the only one having issues with UnblockUs. I'm completely unable to get it to activate. I'm just using the trial. I had tried it several months ago and had no problem and that's why I'm wondering if there might be something changed at the ISP level. (is that even possible?) I'm with Rogers. I also tried Tunlr.net and I'm not getting more success with them. Anybody facing the same issues? DrB |

It's working for me on Shaw.

Dr.B, might it simply be you used your free trial week and now it requires payment to activate? Maybe try a different email address, if you want to test drive it further. I've had no problems with UnblockUS and Eastlink.

I'm on Rogers and it works fine for me, it must be something on your end, or something you are doing wrong. Unblock will work with you to get it going, it's really very simple.

You can't get a new trial by just using a new email address: they identify you via your external IP address, not your email. Unless you're in a different location than you were a few months ago they're probably still recognizing you from that trial. Try actually signing up, after all it's only $5.

All I had to do was change my DNS numbers in Win7 and that's it. Reboot and you're ready to watch all the US stuff. And like North of Calgary mentioned, it's only $5.00 bucks to give it a shot if you really want to stick with Unblock Us. I'm currently giving Unotelly a shot and so far so good. What ever you do, stay away from VPN services because they tend to not be as fast. It'll actually slow down your web surfing too. I've learned this through lots of reading in this site. Just thought I'd pass the info along to you. |

I've been using Unblock for over a year now and my web-surfing is not slowed down at all.
