I wonder if they can pick up additional games as the season goes on. I also wonder if NBC, which has the SNF game, will do any cross advertising. I doubt it, but never know.

Wonder if TSN will go cheap and just broadcast the NBC Sports games instead of paying for a crew.

Most likely NBCSN is picking up the TSN broadcast including TSN's crew.

Thats good to know. If I happen to have a blacked out game on TSN I can watch it on NBC Sports. Good stuff.

The CFL Games are going to be on NBC Sports Network which is not available in Canada. Not to be confused with NBC Television Network which is available in Canada.

I can't wait for Bob Costas' or Jimmy Roberts' interlude essay on why two teams in an eight team league were called the Roughriders for so long!!!

Actually one team is/was the Rough Riders (two words) and the other the Roughriders (one word).

And it was a nine-team league when there were the Roughriders and the Rough Riders. In fact, I think the reason CFL expansion into the U.S. failed was because they forgot to name one of the American teams RoughRiders.

NBC is sure going to look dumb when the Riders play the Bombers for the Grey Cup.
