Well was I ever happy to finally see a temporary channel from my all time favorite band....until they started playing the music.
I swear, they must just play the same 8 songs over and over and over and.... Wish you were here, Welcome to the machines, Pigs, Sheep, High Hope, In the flesh, Breath, Us and them must have played at least 5 times each day. It has been on since June 29th and ends on the 8th of July. In between a few songs, they have interviews with the members but that too is repetitive. I was hoping to make my wife like them a bit more but even she admits it's a bit to much repetitive. I guess I'll just have to rip my own CD's with all the songs they didn't play. Out of 18 albums, I'm sure I'll find something I haven't heard on the radio.

What I guess could have been cool is to play a whole album, then have the band talk about making the album, ... or even have a live concert hour. Sure, it would be the same songs, but hearing them live in different venues would have been interesting to hear ... I guess this channel wasn't planned out too well.

I recently returned from a 3 week vacation and I had siriusxm in the car. Although I enjoyed it, I found the playlists on every channel to be much too tight. As you said, the same songs over and over.

For every repeats, maybe once an hour, they would play a new song. Over a weeks period, it isn't much if you ask me. Jim Ladd from the Roger Waters album Radio K.A.O.S. is the host but that's where the excitement ends.

It's channel 43 on XM and 142 on Sirius. I know I pick it up in my Fiat 500 with Sirius. Don't understand why some radios wouldn't pick it up. Sure sucks.

Is anyone with a Sirius Canada account able to tune channel 142? I've tried it with both my Sportster Replay as well as my Synergi Internet Home Radio and they both say invalid channel?

only newer radios/tuners are able to get that channel. and the channel is not available on-line or the mobile apps.

Have you tried resetting your radios? Maybe it needs to reassign the channels after it is resetted.

I tried resetting the radio to factory defaults and I've also re-sent the activation code to the receiver from my account online.
Still no go |

I thought the channel was on until midnight tonight but it is off right now. Even a quick search on the web says it is on until July 8. I noticed it was gone since this morning. Too much bad rep?

its just like the "best of" channels in the US. if you didn't get a newer radio you would not be able to get those channels. people who still hang on to there roady radios which were the fist radios Sirius offered never were able to get the Canadian channels
