Hasn't the launch of N6 already happened? Looking at the footprint and somewhat understanding it do you guys feel is upper western North Dakota folks will be ok moving ahead? I am currently only about 45 miles south of the border.

Since you are receiving the 82 satellite now, you will receive 91 when the new Nimiq6 goes live.

Both satelltes will have the same footproint.

That is great news 46FD04.

I just reading through the N6 big thread and I gotta say the idea of losing my Canadian programming has me rattled.

I need my CFL and NHL.

New problem but same issue.

It appears that I am getting the HD programming periodically throughout the day on certain channels. For instance. Sportsnet HD works all the time, but TSN doesn't seem to give me a good feed. Using the HD channels in the 800s

My 91 is in the 80s so I believe my signal is strong enough to obtain a good 82 feed but the 82 is in the 50s. Ive tried tweaking the skew to no avail.

Any ideas?

Update. It appears most of my HD programming comes in fine during the morning and early afternoon. But it seems everyday after 5pm I lose a bunch of the HD programming (TSN) HBO, etc

Berbs, you need to re-do your dish.

I checked a map of North Dakota.

Upper NW N.D. is about 1/2 way between Regina, SK and Brandon, MB Canada

Therefore, after checking Bell's Installation manual, I believe your dish's settings should be approx. and elevation of 33 - 34 degrees, and your skew around 76 - 77 degrees.

Give this a try.

With the N6 satellite coming online this week, many people (including myself) are reporting dramatic increases in signal strength on the 91 satellite.

I live near Toronto, Ontario and have 100% on all TP's on 91, and in the high 80's - high 90's on all TP's on 82 satellite
