Default TV Pampa on 15W gone?

Hi,

For anyone able to receive Telstar 12 @ 15W, can you check to see if TV Pampa on TP 12081 H 3510 is still on? It has been gone over here since late last week it seems and I had a few reports from customers stating the same. I tried doing a blind scan and found no new channels. Other channels on this satellite still work fine so it's not an issue with my system.

Regards,

Dr. Sat

Normally I could tell you but I've been off the air for a week. I've pulled my feedline in to replace its outrageously poorly-installed connectors. Now own a compression tool so I can do them correctly. Before pulling my feedline in, I had not been receiving TPAI or RTVGE (11965 H 14713) in recent times, but TV Pampa was always there.

Sorry, I can't go that far east to let you know. Maybe I should install another dish on that face of the house, as there's some good feeds over there, including one for the French Open at 37.5W.

Pampa has been off for about a week, that or the transponder is super-weak.

It appears that TV Pampa has moved from Telstar 12 @ 15W to Eutelsat 12 West A at 12.5W. Unfortunately, they are also now using a satellite beam which does not cover North America so TV Pampa is no longer available on Ku band over here in North America.

However, TV Pampa remains available on C-band at SES 4 @ 22W using a 1.65 meter dish at the following coordinates:

Satellte: SES 4 @ 22 degrees West
Transponder: 4071 Mhz
Polarity: R (Vertical)
Symbol rate: 3502
FEC: 3/4 Protocol & modulation: DVB-S QPSK

I have never heard of the channel, and can't aim there. Curious what it was looked for a website.
It seems to play OK on an iPhone. Sounds kinda funny but plays OK.
